Phase	"Driving Question"	Process
Analysis Needs Task Instructional	What will be taught?	Data collection (with SME) to develop an understanding of the performance requirements needed for the task. Foundation for next phase.
Design	How it is taught	The purpose is to improve performance n the subject area. Devise a strategy based on reseach about how people learn
Development	How will the materials look and sound?	The materials are authored, reviewed, produced, and validated. This depends on the media produced.
Implementation	Is the client ready to take responsibility for the course?	Develop guidance from administrators in order to prepare and carry out their prescribed responsibilities in the real world context.
Evaluation Summative Formative	Have we solved the problem, what is the impact and what needs to be changed?	The process of determining the impact of instruction, feedback and recommendations for change.
